Spotify Royalties 2025 – Spotify paid out more than $11 billion in royalties to the music industry in 2025, a year-over-year increase of over 10 percent and the largest annual payout reported by any digital music retailer. The streaming platform said independent artists and labels received about half of the total royalties amid rising subscription revenue and ongoing challenges in payout distribution.
