Nokia G22: A Durable and Easily Repairable Smartphone for 2023

HMD Global revealed three new smartphones before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 event. One of the new releases is the Nokia G22, designed to be effortlessly repairable by anyone, anywhere, with just a handful of inexpensive tools.

The company collaborated with iFixit, the global repair community, to create a phone whose battery, screen, charging port, and back cover can be quickly and easily removed and replaced. The aim is to enable G22 users to keep using their phones for several years after the three-year warranty expires.

This affordable smartphone is set to retail for a competitive price, making it one of the best cost-effective phones to hit the market in 2023. The Nokia G22 will feature a 6.5-inch, 90Hz HD+ display, a Unisoc T606a processor, and IP52 water and dust resistance.

The Nokia G22 is expected to arrive in the UK on March 8, and will be available in two storage options, 64GB and 128GB, both with 4GB RAM. HMD Global has confirmed that the G22 will run on Android 12 upon launch.

While the Nokia G22 is not set to rival the top-tier phones in terms of features, HMD Global aims to target users looking for an affordable, durable phone. The Nokia C22, which has a three-day battery life, and the C32, with Android 13 and a 50MP main rear camera, are both part of the C-Series and share the 6.5-inch, HD+ display of the G22.

The National Congress of American Indians recently called for a halt to offshore wind projects, citing the need for measures to protect the environment and the traditional resources of tribes.
