Lucid Group unveiled several vehicle accessories as a growing selection of attractive options that complement all Air electric vehicles. The EV accessories include the connected home charging station, which introduces car owners to Lucid’s upcoming energy infrastructure. EV owners may enjoy Lucid Air’s state-of-the-art charging features that include an incredible range per hour of charging with the new user-friendly system.
All-weather mats
All-weather floor mats for Lucid Air are created in-house and are made of a heavy-duty thickness to withstand any season. All mats are non-slip and waterproof, with raised edges to provide a more durable alternative to traditional carpeted floor mats.
Lucid All-Weather Mats are offered in four different colors to match the Lucid Air interior options: Ceramic, Graphite, Saddle, and Black. Floor Mats will be sold in three-piece sets.
Crossbars
Lucid Air Crossbars are durable and elegant aluminum bars load certified for up to 165 lbs. with no effect on aerodynamics. They were designed and constructed precisely to match the aerodynamic slope of the roof.
The crossbars are compatible with a variety of Yakima mounts, including those for motorcycles, surfboards, and kayaks, allowing them to match the most adventurous Lucid customers’ lifestyles.
Capsule
The elegant cargo capsule improves the aerodynamics of the Lucid Air and increases its range. The Lucid capsule comes with an extra 11.47 cubic feet of cargo space which enhances its capability without requiring the rear section to be folded.
The carved ABS component of the sleek capsule is black and comes in gloss and matte styles. The capsule can be adjusted from all sides of your electric car for simple usage of the extra storage area, and it has internal lights for accessibility in dim light.
Home charging station
The Lucid Air’s first at-home charging solution can accommodate a maximum of 19.2 kilowatts, allowing the fastest charging rate of 80 miles per hour. When used at full capacity, the home station essentially doubles the charging speed of the Lucid Air.
Lucid’s in-house design and engineering teams set out to compress as much charging power as possible into the smallest container feasible, producing a home charging system generating 19.2 kW.
The new compact system is housed in an attractive black shell that can be mounted on your wall, whether inside or outside your home. This station connects to your electric car through a lightweight 24-foot charging wire in order to optimize the home charging experience.
The charging station has bi-directional electrical power hardware and supports Wi-Fi functionality, making it suitable to handle future upgrades. This is the first solution to let Lucid customers connect their electric cars with the company’s future energy infrastructure.
Pre-order
The Lucid accessory line can be pre-ordered and will be fully launched in the fourth quarter of 2022, with the capsule arriving in the first quarter of 2023. The home charging station will be offered in limited quantities initially until 2023.
