Lucid Air EV review

The Lucid Air appears to be the 1st vehicle that can do everything. Lucid Air seems to combine the best aspects of both luxury and performance. Never before has a nearly 5-meter-long, technologically advanced luxury sedan been able to accelerate as a lightweight sports car. The Air appears to be able to serve as a chauffeured car, family vehicle, and racetrack toy all in one.

Appearance

The first focus is going to be the appearance of the Lucid Air. Lucid is commended for its efforts in making efficiency-focused styling appealing with an appreciative design. The seating position is ideal, there is plenty of leg space, and there are several luxurious features like massaging seats. You also have physical buttons for a number of things. The Air managed a 2.8-second attempt on 19″ wheels in the 0-60 mph test. It completed the quarter mile in 10.3 seconds. Given the weight of the Lucid, braking performance is not as terrific but not bad.

Responsiveness

The Lucid Air is very responsive. The overall balance is excellent. Also fantastic is steering. However, the grip might be improved. At times, the 933 horsepower Air might seem a little excessive. Ride quality is adequate but not exceptional. The Air achieved a real-world range of 505 miles. For comparison to another test, the EQS, the prior record holder, completed 422 miles. In terms of range, the Air even surpasses the bulk of ICE vehicles. The Air is a fantastic vehicle overall. More OTA upgrades are required to improve the software, and the vehicle’s construction quality must also be enhanced if it is to live up to its potential. The basic framework is in place; the finishing touches are all that are required.

Uniqueness

The upcoming middle-ground 20-inch wheels are going to help. This is a five-star car in terms of thought, approach, execution, and in the way, it drives if those little issues can be resolved, which they can without a doubt. Regarding hard-point limitations, the sophisticated 360-degree camera displays mitigate part of that. There are several unique aspects of Lucid’s business strategy that you get the impression that it would be more challenging for a legacy manufacturer starting from scratch.

The cleverly molded battery modules; the manner in which the whole front-end assembly is as low as possible for both aesthetics and reduced drag; the inclusion of sophisticated cooling and lighting as well as a sizable luggage area; it’s simple-looking engineering, which is the result of countless hours of intricate work. The drive-unit technology developed by Lucid can be offered to other companies; possibly in the near- to medium term.

Efficient and space-saving EVs that could be more readily available than the Lucid Air can be anticipated in the near future. Innovative EV design for mass production is notoriously difficult for startups. To keep on schedule, Lucid needed to raise billions of dollars in funding. The Air is unequivocal evidence that Lucid has already produced something unique.
