Lenovo has unveiled its updated portable Slim and Yoga laptop lines, following the introduction of its mid-tier LOQ gaming laptops. The flagship Slim Pro 9i now offers a mini-LED 3K display as an option for both the 14.5-inch and 16-inch models. This new feature provides enhanced contrast, full coverage of DCI-P3, sRGB, and Adobe RGB color spaces, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1,200-nit brightness level, making it suitable for HDR visuals and outdoor usage. The Slim Pro 9i also caters to gamers and other GPU-intensive tasks with the option to include up to GeForce RTX 4070 graphics.

The Slim Pro 9i is available in both size options with support for up to a 13th-gen Intel Core i9 H-series processor, 64GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The laptops also boast Dolby Atmos-capable speakers and a wide range of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI, and a headphone jack. The 16-inch model also features a full-size SD card reader.

Lenovo plans to launch the Slim Pro 9i series in May, with prices starting at $1,700 for the 14.5-inch model and $1,800 for the 16-inch version. The base models offer RTX 4050 graphics, providing a balance between performance and portability.

For users seeking more affordable options, Lenovo is also updating its Slim Pro 7 and Yoga 7 models. The refreshed Slim Pro 7 comes with a larger battery, improved cooling, and performance upgrades to Ryzen 7000HS-series CPUs. The 14.5-inch laptop offers up to a 3K LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, but the maximum configurations include RTX 4050 graphics, 1TB storage, and 16GB of RAM. Additionally, the 14-inch Slim 7i now features 13th-gen Intel Core processors. Both Slim Pro 7 and Slim 7i models will be available in April, starting at $1,200 and $1,180, respectively.

The new Yoga models include simple spec updates, with the Intel-based Yoga 7i now utilizing 13th-gen Core chips in its 14- and 16-inch versions, while the AMD-powered Yoga 7 relies on Ryzen 7000 CPUs. Both Yoga models can be configured with up to a 2.8K OLED display. The starting prices for the updated Yoga laptops are $800 for the Yoga 7 and $850 for the 14-inch Yoga 7i. The 7i is expected to arrive in April, while the Ryzen edition is slated for a May release.
