The company suggests that AI search can dissect complex searches into manageable segments, provide swift advice for particular inquiries, and offer background when users are considering purchasing items.
Incorporating generative AI into search represents a novel approach for Google. The tech giant anticipates making numerous enhancements over time, driven by user feedback. At present, access is confined to users in the U.S. and requires either the Google app or a Chrome desktop browser.
Eligible Google Labs participants will receive an email invitation to participate in this testing phase.
