DC FanDome debuts ‘The Flash’ teaser trailer

The Flash | Ezra Miller

DC FanDome was held on October 16, 2021, and the much-awaited event has given us more than enough to look forward to in 2022, as far as DC’s and Warner’s projects are concerned. We saw new footage from DC’s upcoming television shows, video games and, of course, movies. And although The Batman was the highlight of the whole event, fans around the world also freaked out over the special look trailer for The Flash, which also debuted during the event:

The Flash is, as you probably know, been through hell and back over the years, with several directors and writer signing on and leaving the production, before It director Andy Muschietti finally took on the project, wrapping up the filming as we’re writing this text for you.

The movie, which will see Ezra Miller reprise his DCEU role as Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash, will also see both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton return as their respective versions of Bruce Wayne / Batman, as well as Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdu as Nora Allen, Ian Loh as a young Barry Allen, with Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso signed on for yet unknown roles. Clemons will also be reprising her DCEU role, while Ron Livingston will be replacing Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, due to the latter’s scheduling issues. Sasha Calle is going to make her debut as the DCEU’s Supergirl, thereby expanding Superman’s role within the DCEU.

When asked why he took on the project, Muschietti said earlier: “What captivated me about The Flash is the human drama in it. The human feelings and emotions that play in the drama [of it]. It’s going to be fun, too. I can’t promise that there will be any horror [elements in it], really, but it’s a beautiful human story.”

As you can see, the whole cast and crew are excited to be working on this project, as are we. The Flash is currently set for a November 4, 2022 theatrical release.
